TUESDAY TIDINGS for April 30, 2024

TUESDAY TIDINGS

Pastor’s Corner

Dear First United Methodist Church,

This morning, I was out for a run around the gym where I am a member. Behind the gym, I found propped and broken by the dumpster a sign that read “Joy Family Love”.

How often do we find ourselves cast aside by life or those we thought to be friends, especially when we are broken or at our worst?

It is at that moment when we are at our worst, that Christ can be at His best. He can take our mourning and turn it into joy. He can take our trash and turn it into treasure.
That is truly what it means to surrender to God’s will.

Grace and Peace,

Pastor David
