Life can be messy. Many people feel they need to ‘clean up their act’ before they can belong to a church. The truth is, everyone has messy relationships, messy circumstances, and messy families. We don’t need to change before we can feel welcome in a community of faith.
Fortunately for us, church can be messy, too! Messy Church is for families of all ages and backgrounds who want a more hands-on form of worship. During each gathering, you will explore a biblical theme through creative activities, songs, a short story, and prayer. At the end of the service, everyone gathers around the table to share a meal.
Messy Church isn’t designed just for kids, and it isn’t designed just for adults. Each service intentionally offers something for everyone. The usual Messy Church atmosphere allows people to take a break from their busy, messy lives and reconnect with one another. When groups of all ages think, play, and work together to explore the bible, it’s easier to see that everyone is invited to experience Christ’s love exactly as they are.
