Lent Devotion, Day 15 of 44

Read Matthew 15: http://bible.oremus.org/?ql=481771883

Scripture: v. 15:27 “Yes it is, Lord,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”

Observation: The Canaanite woman has such great faith. Her persistence is pleading is a model for our praying. Approach the throne of God boldly and humbly in prayer.

The Canaanite woman persisted in pleas for help.

Application: I desire to pray with more prayer and persistence for the healing of loved ones.

Prayer: Lord, I come before you today asking for the healing of my loved ones with persistence and humility. I know at times that we are not worthy of your great love. However, I thank you for your great and manifold mercies that sustain us each day. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
