The tagline we have chosen for our church is “Loving God. Loving Others.” So, naturally, volunteering in our church and in the community is at the core of our identity. We encourage all members and regular attendees to get involved in the ministries and activities that call to them. These are a few ways people have chosen to give their time and talents to our congregation.
For the Congregation
Worship Leadership
Usher: Before the service, our ushers stand at one of the three main entrances to the sanctuary to welcome attendees and hand out the church bulletin, new visitor information, and activity books for children. During the service, ushers pass the collection plate through their section to collect the offering and bring it to the altar.
Communion Server: Once per month, service attendees help the congregation receive communion. During Traditional services, servers administer communion cups and bread to individuals. During the contemporary service, servers hold the loaf of bread or the cup to let the congregation receive by intinction.
Communion Setup: Once per month, volunteers help prepare the bread and juice before the service.
Sanctuary Setup and Cleaning: Help us open the facilities and prepare for the upcoming services.
