FAREWELL TO SCOTT SPRADLIN
Our beloved music director, Scott Spradlin, last Sunday will be May 28th, Pentecost Sunday. Following worship, we have a BBQ luncheon planned, and we need you to RSVP. Please contact the church office, and we will put you on the list to receive tickets for the event. We are asking for donations to pay for the cost of this celebration. However, no donation is required to attend. We want as many people as possible to attend. At the luncheon, there will be a basket for the Spradlin family for you to share your appreciation with cards.
SEARCH FOR SUCCESSOR HAS BEGUN
While there will not be another Scott and we so appreciate his ministry, a search committee has been formed to find Scott’s successor as the Director of Music and Worship. The opening has been advertised on Indeed.com. So far the search team received 41 applications. Nine applicants will participate in the next stage of the process with screening interviews this next week. Your prayers for the search are appreciated. We do welcome internal applicants.
