Dear Friends in the Faith,

Grace and peace to you, dear friends in the faith. It is good to be writing you this note today. As you may have noticed, I have not contributed to Tuesday Tidings for the past three weeks. As I shared on Sunday, I recently experienced a significant health incident that required me to step away from all of my church responsibilities for a time of rest and healing.

By the grace of God and with the care of good medical professionals, I have been cleared by my doctor to return to the pulpit and resume ministry activities—slowly and steadily easing back in.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for your prayers, your kind notes, your phone calls, and your concern during this time. I truly felt surrounded by your love and uplifted by your faith. Your support has meant more than words can express.

I look forward to reconnecting more fully with each of you and sharing more regular updates through Tuesday Tidings in the weeks ahead. It is a joy and an honor to be your pastor.

Bible Explorers & Upper Room: A New Journey Together

Starting Sunday, July 27th at 9:30 AM in the Chapel, the Bible Explorers and Upper Room classes will unite to form one dynamic group. This new class blends thoughtful study, meaningful discussion, and warm fellowship—welcoming everyone who wants to grow in faith and explore God’s Word together.

Leaders from both groups are working to create a rich, engaging experience that honors the strengths of each class while opening the door to new connections. Whether you’re returning or joining for the first time, we invite you to be part of this exciting new chapter!

Our next rite of anointing is as follows:

*August 3rd, the rite will be administered at 8am worship.
 

LOOKING AHEAD

You are cordially invited to attend the annual Piano Concert for Vision India, presented by Myra Johnson, on Sunday, August 17th at 3:00 PM in the Sanctuary. This cherished event features a stirring selection of traditional hymns and sacred arrangements, offered in support of Vision India’s outreach initiatives. All are welcome to share in an afternoon of music, mission, and reflection.
