Scripture
27 So they answered Jesus, “We don’t know.”
Then he said, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.
Observation
If you can’t discern Jesus’ motives, then you can’t discern the will of God.
Application
I need to remember that God’s authority comes from heaven, and the world will often resist the things of God.
Prayer
“Everliving God, whose will it is that all should come to you
through your Son Jesus Christ: Inspire our witness to him,
that all may know the power of his forgiveness and the hope. Amen.
