Scripture: Matthew 24:36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”
Observation: We must live with a sense of urgency as if Jesus will return tomorrow. However, we cannot make predictions about when he comes back.
Application: Live a life of integrity, and the Lord will find me ready when he returns or when I make a transition from this life to the next.
Prayer: Come Lord Jesus, Come. I await your return with anticipation and readiness, but without anxiety or worry. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
